Graduation 2016

A joyous occasion - with twelve graduates that have completed their B.Ed. Degree after four years of study.

We were joined by some delegates from the North West University: Prof Rantoa Letšosa (Vice Rector) and Mrs Sylvia Letšosa, Mr Louis Jacobs (Acting Executive Director: Institutional Advancement) and his wife Triens Jacobs (Administrative officer Financial Support Services), Dr Herman  van Vuuren (Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences in the place of  Prof Robert Balfour), Dr Annemarie Loubser (Programme Leader BEd Foundation Phase), Mr Emmanuel Ngwenya (isiZulu lecturer, NWU), Pieter Conradie  (Senior Admin Official School for Human and Social Sciences for Education) & his wife Corlé Conradie and Miss Daleen Gey Van Pittius  who  so kindly  transported the Graduation Attire. We really appreciate the support that NWU demonstrated by sending such a big group of representatives.

Adding quality to the celebration was the fact that six students passed with distinction. Another great encouragement to staff and college was the announcement that six of these fresh teachers are working at various mission schools as full time missionaries.

An illustrious PhD degree was also presented as a gesture to what would follow at another graduation ceremony at the end of May. Our dear collegue Elfrieda Fleischmann  received a categorial cum laude, her thesis was accepted unconditionally by examiners from South Africa and abroad.

Our hearts were overflowing with thankfulness for such a beautiful evening. The Vice Rectore of NWU, Prof R. Letsosa, encouraged and Reverend E. Stegen challenged us to give our life completely to the Lord. Even if we had 10'000 lives, we should not keep one of them for ourselves.
